When "Extreme Makeover-Home Edition, After the Storm" airs at 7:00pm on Friday, April 14, 2006 on the ABC Television Network (KTRK-TV, Channel 13 in Houston), don't be surprised when you see Riverside Media, Inc. listed among the credits at the end of the program. Riverside Media

 was selected to coordinate 13 videographers in shooting over 100 hours of video, and to produce a 'behind the scenes' documentary.

The documentary chronicles the contributions of over 125 contractors and volunteers who worked alongside the Extreme Makeover team to restore the Sabine Pass Fire House #4 damaged by Hurricane Rita. For information on the documentary, contact us at info@riversidetech.com.

 

 

 

On the Horizon....

Riverside Media currently has several major projects at various stages of production....

 

A video documenting the construction of a high-tech LNG (liquefied natural gas) plant in southern Louisiana. The project, which is a collaborative effort between U.S. and Japanese companies, will take approximately three years to complete and cost over $500 million.

 

The production of an on-line orientation video. The interactive video will provide training to benefit the clients of a major HMO provider.

 

A pilot for a television program featuring an experienced television personality as host, to be marketed nationally.

Riverside at the Rodeo!

Riverside Media was asked to partner with Houston Mayor Bill White and Kroger Stores to produce a promotional spot that was broadcast on Black Heritage Day at Reliant Stadium during the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. The 60-second spot highlighted the achievements of Black cowboys and their contribution to the Old West. Click here to view the full spot.

Award-winning pianist Bobby Lyle, along with friends Howard Hewitt, Paul Jackson, Jr., Everett Harp, and others performed a live concert benefiting the Family to Family Network. Riverside produced a promotional video to assist Family to Family Network in its fundraising efforts.

 

The Colorado Beef Association launched a national campaign to introduce a new product from an old favorite. Riverside Media  provided coverage for several local and national media outlets.

 

Former KTRK News Anchor Shara Fryer served as MC for the Maxine Messenger Dinner of Champions benefiting multiple sclerosis. Tillman Fertita was the Honoree for the coveted award.

 

 

Area school children competed at the Annual  Martin Luther King Oratorical Contest sponsored by the Gardere, Wynne Sewell Law Firm, and hosted by Antioch Baptist Church in downtown Houston.
